Heavenleigh Angel Duran June 5, 2006 – February 27, 2026 Heavenleigh Angel Duran was born on June 5, 2006, to her biological parents, Mark Angel Duran and Victoria Santistevan. She was deeply loved by her parents, Mark and Kim Duran, who adopted and raised her as there own after losing her biological parents. Heavenleigh held a special place in her heart for her Nino, Mike Duran her loving sister to Alyssa Duran and Mia Duran. She leaves behind her cousin, Mayleigh Anessa Duran, and her beloved godson, Mayik Duran, whom she adored with all her heart. Heavenleigh also treasured her cat, Splif, who brought her comfort and happiness. Heavenleigh cherished her siblings, Jasiah Ray Gutteirez and Raylee Gutteirez, from her biological mother’s side. She was blessed with a large and loving family. Her paternal grandparents, Emilio “Meatloaf” Vialpando, Grandmother Lucy Trujillo, and Grandmother Mary Duran, and her maternal grandmother, Yolanda Medina, along with many uncles, aunts, cousins, and extended family members, continue to honor and cherish her memory. Heavenleigh was preceded in death by her biological parents, Mark Angel Duran and Victoria Santistevan. Heavenleigh was an old soul with a creative heart. She loved to draw and express herself through art. A true social spirit, she loved going out with her friends and being surrounded by the people she cared about. Her joking personality and playful sense of humor made others laugh easily — she brought light into every room she entered. She found peace and joy in nature. She loved watching sunsets, picking flowers, and searching for angel numbers — small signs that made her feel connected to something greater. One of her favorite things to do was cruise in her car, chasing the sunset and capturing photos of the sky as it changed colors. Heavenleigh loved the simple joys in life. Ramen noodles were her favorite food. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and riding ATVs. She loved putting on her makeup and listening to music. Determined and faithful, she was headstrong in the most beautiful way — a strong spirit with a loving heart. Heavenleigh will be remembered for her strength, her radiant personality, her laughter, and the love she gave so freely. Her memory will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services for Heavenleigh Angel Duran, will be on March 7, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Valley Church of the Nazarene 228 Madison St, Monte Vista, Colorado. She will be laid to rest at the Center Assembly of God Cemetery 75 La Garita Ranchettes, Del Norte Colorado. The dinner will be at the Center High school Cafeteria following interment.
