Angelo Rodriguez August 19, 1979 - August 14, 2026 With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Angelo Rodriguez, who left us on August 14th, 2026, at the age of 46. Born on August 19, 1979, in Monte Vista, Colorado. Angelo was born to Darlene Rodriguez. He grew up in Center, Colorado, where he attended Center and Sargent schools. During his school years was where his love for music began to shine. He was an active member of the band and proudly served as a drum major. From an early age, he knew music would always be a part of who he was. He was a proud father, and his family was always at the center of his heart. He was a son, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend. He was the kind of person who could make a friend anywhere he went. He was easy to talk to, and his energy and personality naturally attracted so many people toward him. He never hesitated to strike up a conversation with anyone around him. His friendships meant so much to him, and he cherished the people who were lucky enough to call him a friend. He loved life. He was always happy, always laughing, and always bringing his own light into the room. No matter what he was going through- the hardships, the silent battles- he always showed up with a smile on his face. He loved spending time with his family and making memories with all the people he loved. Family meant the most to him. Music was one of his greatest passions. He was incredibly gifted and could pick up just about any instrument and play it. He loved playing the drums, guitar, keyboard, trumpet, and so much more. He loved to sing and was well known for his unique voice. He also had the privilege of being in many bands throughout his life. Music was simply a part of who he was, and hearing him play was something his family and friends will always remember. He was also incredibly talented at his work. He was skilled in home remodeling, flooring, and tiling. His talent, creativity, and hard work was something he took great pride in. And of course, anyone who knew him knew how much he loved his 1974 Ford pickup. He loved going to truck meets and showing off his truck. He also loved making sure he was always looking good and kept nice and cleaned up. His outfits were always on point. Those are just the little things that made him who he was, and they are the things his family will always smile about when remembering him. Above all else, Angelo's family was the most important thing in his life. He loved his four children with his whole heart. He was incredibly proud of each of them and everything they accomplished, big or small. His children were his greatest pride and joy, and the love he had for them was something everyone around him could see. He is survived by his mother, Darlene Rodriguez, his biological father, Miguel Ibarra, his adoptive father, Raul Rodriguez, two sisters, Veronica Aguilar (Adan), and Sarah Rodriguez, his four children, Angelo Rodriguez, Sahara Rodriguez, Kamron Rodriguez, and Jordynn Lucero-Rodriguez, his nieces, Lexxi Aguilar, Karleigh Aguilar, Jocelynn Naranjo, his nephews, Giovanni Aguilar and Gabriel Rodriguez, his aunt, Lucy Lovato, his girlfriend and best friend, Amy Vance, and countless cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and loved ones who will carry his memory with them forever. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Narciso and Sarafina Marquez, Esmerelda Chavez, his paternal grandparents, Jose and Amparo Rodriguez, his cousins, Madelene and Mauro Moreno, and his aunt, Tonita Saenz. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered. The rosary for our beloved Angelo Rodriguez will be held on Friday, September 4th at 6:00 P.M at Saint Francis Jerome Catholic Church in Center, Colorado, with a mass following on September 5th at 10:00 A.M at Saint Francis Jerome Catholic Church in Center, Colorado.
