Julia M. Trujillo
September 19, 1932 - March 6, 2022
On March 6, 2022 at 12:00 AM, the heart of a loving and beautiful woman stopped beating. Julia M. Trujillo passed peacefully in the arms of her loving daughter Tamara, grandson Derrion Torrez and son-in-law Lawrence at her home under Hospice Care. Julia lived without her soul mate Joe C. Trujillo for exactly four years to the Sunday, where he went to prepare "Un Rinconcito en el cielo" or a corner in heaven. Julia was a devoted and loving person who was strong willed and believed in, " taking care of business. " She was born on September 19, 1932 to Gabriel and Fedelina Martinez. Joe and Julia had a one of a kind and loving union. From that union they had four children. Julia was known as a gambler who loved playing cards at the V.F.W. where she was a life member. Her passion for gambling took her on many trips with family and friends to New Mexico, where she also met so many good people who also became friends. You can ask any of her card playing friends, she didn't lose very often. Thank you to all who took the time to tell her hi, or stopped by to laugh, pray and spend time with Julia. She was blessed to have people in her life that cared and loved her unconditionally. A special thanks goes out to Hospice Del Valley who offered their support and care for Julia and her family. We could have not done all this without them. If you would like to do something on Julia's behalf , please donate to Hospice De Valle because one day you, or a loved one may need those services. Julia will live on through her children Andy, Joleen (Isaac), James, Tamara (Lawrence). Grandchildren Amber (Scott) Sweaney, Jason Trujillo, Nickie Trunnell (Tony Lujan), Jamie Trujillo who she raised as her daughter, Kim Pacheco, Ashley Pacheco (Ray Garcia), Elizabeth Pacheco (Jose Medina), great-grandchildren Abby Sweaney, Carson Sweaney, Austin Trujillo, Derrion Torrez, Rayanna May, Ramon Garcia, Ahlea Garcia, Kaleesi Lujan, Dre Lujan. She is also survived by many other extended family members and friends. A special thanks to Grace Montoya who cared for Julia with the love and care of a daughter. Julia was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Joe C. Trujillo, grandson Little Andy and brother Gabby Martinez.
