Center resident Jose Luis Villagomez, passed away May 28, 2020 at Parkview Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Born June 28, 1959 in Cañada De Caracheo Guanajuato, Mexico, the son of Jose Villagomez-Moreno and Reynalda Mendoza. Luis enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. Survivors include his loving wife Theresa Villagomez of Center, CO; father Jose Villagomez of Center, CO; children Janet (Guillermo) Zapata of Las Cruces, NM; Gil (Lori) Chavez of Cheyenne, WY; Nehemiah Villagomez of Center, CO; brothers Jose "Lole" (Gloria) Villagomez of Center, CO; Jose (Leticia) Villagomez, Jose "Panta" (Maria) Villagomez, Jose "David" (Gabriela) Villagomez, all of Center, CO; sisters Maria Elena (Elias) Villagomez-Bustamante, Maria Esther (David) Villagomez-Sovia, Maria Raphaela Villagomez all of Center, CO; four granddaughters, eight great-grandchildren, 15 nieces and nephews as well as numerous cousins and friends. Luis was preceded in death by his mother Reynalda and daughter Alea Villagomez. Cremation was chosen and a Memorial Service is planned for Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Center Assembly of God Church. Inurnment will follow at the La Garita Cemetery.
