He was 79 years old. Abundio was born on July 11, 1946, in Sinaloa, Mexico, to Antonio Felix and Manuela Cebreros. Raised with strong values of hard work, perseverance, and love for family, Abundio carried those qualities with him throughout his entire life. He later made his home in Colorado, where he became known for his hard working spirit, his love for the outdoors, and the deep devotion he had for his family. For most of his life, Abundio worked in agricultural labor. Through long days and difficult seasons, he provided for those he loved with pride and determination. He was a man who understood the value of honest work and never hesitated to lend a helping hand to others. His strength, resilience, and quiet sacrifices will forever be remembered by those who knew him. Abundio found joy in the simple things life had to offer. He loved fishing, hunting, long walks, and gambling, always enjoying the excitement and laughter that came with it. One of his greatest pleasures was spending time shed hunting with his son, creating memories that will be treasured forever. Whether outdoors enjoying nature or surrounded by family sharing stories and laughter, Abundio’s presence brought comfort and warmth to those around him. Above all else, Abundio loved his family deeply. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Bertha Felix, whom he cherished throughout their years together. Their love and partnership were a beautiful example of commitment and devotion. Though widowed, Abundio carried Bertha’s memory in his heart every day. He is survived by his loving children: Aurelia Lerma, Veronica Gonzales, Margarito Felix, Antonio Felix, Anthony (Terry) Gonzales, and Joseph Martinez. He is also survived by his 7 sisters, 2 brothers, and his 15 cherished grandchildren, all of whom brought immense pride and happiness to his life. Abundio was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio Felix and Manuela Cebreros; his beloved wife, Bertha Felix; his son Leon Felix; his 3 little sisters; and his 2 brothers. Abundio Felix will be remembered as a strong, humble, and loving man whose life was centered around family, hard work, and the outdoors he loved so much. His wisdom, stories, laughter, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he may no longer walk beside us, his memory will continue to guide and comfort his family for generations to come.
