Chase and Jameson Martinez

Alamosa residents Chase Carter Martinez, 9, and Jameson Maddox Martinez, 6, were escorted to their eternal rest on January 23, 2021 by the company of angels. Chase was welcomed into the world on March 11, 2011 and Jameson on May 7, 2014. They were the beloved sons of Gabriel Martinez Jr., and Jardena Dunn Martinez. Both Chase and Jameson were students at Alamosa Elementary. Chase and Jameson were asked daily what they learned at school and what their favorite part of their day was. Chase would always give details of what he learned and Jameson never failed to make his dad laugh when he couldn't exactly remember what he learned but everyday his favorite part of the day was the good lunch he ate at school. Chase loved to entertain his family and friends. He was a tiktoc making pro and had his own YouTube channel. He enjoyed playing with legos and making things out of them, flying his drone and playing his video games. Jameson was also a tiktoc master and loved to dance and play games on his Ipad. He enjoyed riding his bike and going to the mountains and jumping on the trampoline. He loved going to school and playing with his friends. Both Chase and Jameson loved spending time with their parents, grandparents, family and friends. These two sweet, kind and loving boys were not with us long, but they left a mark on the hearts of everyone they met. They were so loved while they were here with us and they will be dearly missed everyday!!! They are also survived by many friends and extended family. Chase and Jameson were preceded in death by their great-grandmother Nea Mora, great-grandfather Andy Martinez, great-uncle Terry Mora , one great-aunt Carnation Rose Mora and one cousin Joshua Maes. A Vigil Service with Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Conejos. A Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 11:00 AM also at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Cremation will follow and Inurnment will be held at a later date.
